ZEE5, India’s largest domestic video streaming platform, today announced the digital premiere of its recent Bollywood Sense, The Kashmir archives on 13 May, exclusively at ZEE5. Post a record success at the box office, The Kashmir archives will now be available in 190+ countries in many languages, including Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Canadian.
Vivek Agnihotri’s The Kashmir Files will air on ZEE5 from May 13
Written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film stars veteran actors such as Anupam Kher, Mithun Chakraborty, Pallavi Joshi and Darshan Kumaar in key roles. The story is told by the gap that is still visible in the Kashmir valleys. Director Vivek Agnihotri has narrated the emotional anguish of the Kashmiri Pandits. echoing the sense of deprivation, the pain of departure, the fear of existence and the struggle for survival.
Actor Anupam Kher shared, “The Kashmir Files is a depiction of an incident that happened to our people years ago and is not yet known to so many. The success of the film is a testament to the sincerity with which Vivek and “The crew worked on this project. The film received rave reviews from all over the nation and now for those who could not watch it on the big screen, The Kashmir Files will be available at ZEE5 in 190+ countries.”
Darshan Kumaar shared further, “The Kashmir archives is very close to my heart as it was a film that defined my career. I’m very happy that it turned out to be one of the highest grossing Bollywood movies of the year. “I look forward to its premiere at ZEE5 and I’m excited that it will reach a lot more people.”
The Kashmir archives will premiere on April 13, 2022 at ZEE5.
