Wonder no more. The Balkan Mirage is a short film by and about a quartet of Quebec friends who embarked on “a journey on wheels”. Along with their bikes, the team is on a mission to capture every moment of the journey on film. A simple trip to the Balkan Peninsula turns into something else as fact turns into fiction and The Balkan Mirage takes shape.

Four friends, bound by a thirst for adventure, say goodbye to the warm comforts of home and embark on a cycling trip through the Balkans. Felix and Nicolas, armed with their cameras, will stop at nothing to capture every moment. Joining them is Annie, a determined scientist on a quest to uncover the secrets of a most enigmatic bat species. And then there’s Mathieu, who frankly, has no idea what he’s gotten himself into…
