Movies with superheroes are everywhere, with various studios creating their own cinematic universes as a result. Sony is no exception, creating a rising franchise based on the story of Spider-Man. The next installment of this franchise is Morbiusstarring Jared Leto as the title character. But Spidey could show up in the upcoming blockbuster? Here is the last one from Leto himself.
Sony Spider-Verse started with the prototype Poison film, before expanding with its sequel. But Tom Holland had virtually no role in either project, with some fans hoping to finally see a crossover or a cameo Morbius. Jared Leto was recently asked if there would be a Spider-cameo in his upcoming blockbuster, answering:
I’ll tell you, I would love to be in the ring with Spider-Man. I think Tom Holland is amazing and we would make a pretty dynamic duo.
Well, here it is. While Jared Leto would love his new comic book character to face Spider-Man, the Oscar-winning actor makes it appear that this will not happen in the first Morbius film. But fortunately there are still connections to Tom Holland’s films, that is, with integration by Adrian Toomes / Vulture by Michael Keaton.
Jared Leto was asked about the possibility of Spider-Man appearing Morbius with ET during a chat on the red carpet at the Critic’s Choice Awards.
