Tuesday, December 14 marks the 20th anniversary of the iconic film Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham directed by Karan Johar starring Amitabh Bachchan, Jaya Bachchan, Kajol, Shah Rukh Khan, Kareena Kapoor Khan and Hrithik Roshan. Last week was about celebrating the 20th anniversary of the iconic film.
Now, director Nikkhil Advani who was assistant director at Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham celebrated the iconic film saying the Chandu Ke Chacha dialogue. In the film, we see teenager Poo intimidating teenager Rohan by asking him to recite the tongue twister Chandu Ke Chacha. While he never manages to do it right, years later, when the two meet in London, Rohan (Hrithik Roshan) speaks perfectly in front of Poo (Kareena Kapoor) who immediately recognizes him.
Nikkhil took to Instagram to share a video of himself saying the dialogue. While it took two turns to get the dialogue right, the fans stressed that he lost a line in his last attempt.
Sharing the video, Nikkhil wrote: “I’m celebrating # 20YearsOfK3G with my point of view in one of his iconic dialogues.”
Meanwhile, earlier today Alia Bhatt shared a video recreating a scene from K3G where he repelled the role of Po. Ranveer Singh turned Hrithik Roshan on stage with Ibrahim Ali Khan playing one of the boys rejected by Poo.
