It may not be the most desirable Blu-Ray release to some extent, but the third entry in the Find out what you did last summer The franchise will be getting a new physical release soon.
Too bad I’ll always know what you did next summer heading to Blu-Ray next month. The film is often regarded as one of the worst horror sequels in a franchise that isn’t exactly of the highest quality as it is.
Still, with I know what you did last summer got a 4K release last year for its 25th anniversary and I still know what you did last summer going to be in on it, it would be a little strange if there wasn’t a third entry to join them as well with a very new version. Even if it’s just a standard Blu-Ray.
I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer Blu-Ray Release Date
The Dawn of the Discs has announced that its Blu-Ray port of I’ll Always Know What You Did Last Summer will arrive on September 29, 2023. Not coincidentally, that’s the same day as the second film’s 4K release.
I will always know what you did last summer it came several years after the first two films, and the direct-to-video film had no involvement from Kevin Williamson or Jennifer Love-Hewitt. It was directed by Sylvian White who would go on to make it Thin Man film.
It essentially plays out the same story as the original with reduced stakes in the story of young friends who cover up an accidental death before being stalked and killed a year later.
It may not be considered the third canon entry for a long time, although there are reports that the original surviving cast could return for a new I Know What You Did Last Summer.
