It might just be a crumb to satiate those hungry for the return of David Fincher and Michael Fassbender, but there’s a new image from their film The murderer out there, ready to dive.
The film, based on a graphic novel by Alexis Nolent and Luc Jacamon, sees an assassin (Fassbender) begin to question his sanity as he awaits his next target.
The project is a long-term project, with Fincher rolling it out for the past 16 years before finally shooting in November 2021. It also marks Michael Fassbender’s first film since 2019 (X-Men: Dark Phoenix)
Not long until it arrives, but that picture I mentioned? You can check it out below.
The Killer: Michael Fassbender Starring in the David Fincher film
Here you go. Yeah, it’s basically just a picture of a steely-eyed Michael Fassbender, but you could live off that for weeks, right?
The Killer is David Fincher’s latest collaboration with Netflix after the award-winning Mindhunter and Oscar-winning biopic Mank. It is scheduled to be released on the streaming platform on November 10, but will premiere on September 3 at the 80th Venice International Film Festival.
Along with Fassbender, the film will star Tilda Swinton, Arliss Howard, Charles Parnell and Sophie Charlotte. It is written by Seven screenwriter Andrew Kevin Walker and features cinematographer Erik Messerschmidt re-teaming with Fincher after their Oscar-winning work on Mank.
