One such movie that has grabbed attention is OMG 2the continuation of the success of 2012 Oh my God! starring Akshay Kumar and Paresh Rawal. This almost 65% increase from the collection of Rs. 10.26 cr. attributed to the Independence Day celebration which has helped the collection of the film a lot. In addition to this, another factor works in favor OMG 2 is the other version Gadar 2. While the latter was rewriting box office records, the film’s over-the-top audiences were venturing out for OMG 2 giving it a much needed boost. These two factors combined with the fact that the film has made headlines thanks to the actors’ petition to review the “Adults Only” rating, and the marketing hype have gone a long way in boosting business.
Moving on OMG 2, which has been rather consistent in its box office collections as it continues its steady run at the box office. Currently, trade estimates suggest that if the film continues this way, it is more than likely to approach if not cross Rs. 100 cr. by the end of the first week.
