Jordan Peele's new film has been pulled from Universal's 2024 release calendar.
The Oscar-winning director's fourth film is no longer slated for a Christmas 2024 release following the recent WGA and SAG-AFTRA strikes, according to Entertainment Weekly.
Universal has yet to officially announce the news of the film's delay. Details of the film have so far been kept under wraps, as is tradition for Peele's projects when they are in their early stages.

Peele has made a name for himself in the horror genre. He previously directed the 2017 blockbuster Get out, protagonist Black panther's Daniel Kaluuya — which drew criticism.
He then went on to direct the 2019 psychological horror Us, with Lupita Nyong'o and The Handmaid's Tale star Elisabeth Moss, ahead of his latest 2022 sci-fi horror release No – which saw Peele team up with Kaluuya for the second time.
The filmmaker recently joined forces Metal Gear Solid creator Hideo Kojima to announce a brand new Xbox game. The pair appeared together on stage at The Game Awards earlier this month to reveal their collaboration on the title.

“[I’m] a huge Hideo fan, the man is an icon,” Peele said. “I can tell from the first moment I played Metal Gear Solid 2 I knew I was experiencing the work of an artist whose art just strikes differently. He was an inspiration to me and the opportunity to work with him is just incredible.
“What he's cooking here is absolutely fascinating [and] absolutely terrifying… what this man is building here is unlike any other game, it's crazy.”
After an announcement video, which appeared Euphoria's Hunter Schafer and Iron SKYUdo Kier, Kojima revealed that Peele is just one of the collaborators from the film world working on the exciting project.
