Just one month left before its release The Matrix Resurrections, Warner Bros. Studios has largely kept the adventure cap tight, having only released one trailer so far, although the studio has now released a new poster for the fourth film in the series that places fresh and famous faces in front and in the center. Although the poster does not reveal much about the new information about the film, it does give us a good look at Keanu Reeves’ Neo with a look similar to the one he had when he entered The Matrix in the original trilogy. “You’re back to the Matrix with this new poster for The Matrix Resurrections. “See it in theaters and on HBO Max * this Christmas,” says the film Twitter account wrote a caption on the new poster.
The film describes, “From the visionary filmmaker Lana Wachowski comes The Matrix Resurrections, the long-awaited fourth film of the groundbreaking franchise that redefined a genre. The new film reunites the original protagonists Keanu Reeves and Carrie-Ann Moss in the iconic roles that made Nio and Trinity famous.
The film also stars Yahya Abdul-Mateen II (o Aquaman franchise) Jessica Henwick (television Iron fist, Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens), Jonathan Groff (Hamilton, televisions Mindhunter), Neil Patrick Harris (Gone Girl), Priyanka Chopra Jonas (TV Quantico,), Christina Ricci (television Escapeing the Madhouse: The Nellie Bly Story, The Lizzie Borden Chronicles), Telma Hopkins (television Dead to me), Eréndira Ibarra (series Sense8, Refractory), Toby Onwumere (television Empire), Max Riemelt (series Sense8), Brian J. Smith (series Sense8, Treadstone), and Jada Pinkett Smith (The Angel Has Fallen, televisions Gotham).
Back in 2003, The Matrix revolutions Apparently it brought an end to the series, leaving many viewers surprised not only that we would get a fourth film, but that it would also see the returns of so many authentic characters. Naturally, fans are wondering if this is the beginning of a brand new trilogy or just a sequel to previous films, and while the participating directors have not immediately confirmed what will happen in the future, the president and CEO of WarnerMedia Studios and Networks Ann Sarnoff. It was confirmed earlier this year, “Whenever Lana wants to make a movie, we’re all in.”
