NEXT Ae Dil Hai Mushkil released five years ago, director Karan Johar once again wears the director’s hat for his next film entitled Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani. In July, the director announced that he was returning to directing. Bollywood Hungama was the first to reveal the title and cast of the upcoming family-focused film. Protagonist Gully Boy Starring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, the cast of the film also includes Dharmendra, Jaya Bachchan and Shabana Azmi in the lead roles. Jaya, who has worked with Kabhi Khushi Kabhie Gham and Cal Ho Na Ho, plays Ranveer’s grandmother while Dharmendra and Shabana play Alia’s grandparents.
The day before, Karan Johar shared a selfie with his protagonists, Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt, teasing that they will announce the release date of the film on November 29. Now, we have learned that Dharma Productions movie will be released on February 10, 2023.
Revealing the release date of the film, Karan Johar wrote on Twitter sharing a video, adding: “After 7 years, it gives me so much joy and gratitude to be here and announce that my next #RockyAurRaniKiPremKahani, a love story in the heart of the soul of of family values - released on February 10, 2023. “

The cast is currently in Delhi for filming. Farah Khan will choreograph the songs while Manish Malhotra has designed the costumes. Meanwhile, the son of Saif Ali Khan and Amrita Singh, Ibrahim Ali Khan, is one of the co-directors in the film.
Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani is written by Ishita Moitra, Shashank Khaitan and Sumit Roy and produced by Dharma Productions.
