On the occasion of Mithali Raj’s birthday, Viacom18 Studios today announced the release date of Shabaash Mithu. The protagonist of Taapsee Pannu is ready to hit the screens worldwide on February 4, 2022.
Shabaash Mithu is the coming of age of female cricket history in India, as evidenced by the most successful female cricket in the country. The film chronicles the ups and downs, the setbacks and the euphoric moments of Mithali’s life with Taapsi Panu trying out the eponymous role. The film will also feature the talented actor Vijay Raaz in a key role.
Shabaash Mithu was filmed domestically and internationally to accurately bring to life Mithali’s iconic journey and meteoric rise on the world stage. Produced by Viacom18 Studios, Shabaash Mithu’s creative producer is Ajit Andhare, and the film is directed by Srijit Mukhe
