Claire Foy and Benedict Cumberbatch star in the new film The Electrical Life of Louis Wain. However, in a new conversation, Claire admitted that her co-star had a “pathological hatred” for some of the animals they had to work with in the film.
Speaking on New Year’s Eve at The Graham Norton Show, Claire talked about working with the Sherlock star.
He admitted that he did not see the cats in the film.
The biographical drama includes a number of felines as Louis Wayne was famous for his artwork.
However, off screen, Benedict was not so convinced by his furry teammates.

His psychedelic images were instrumental in changing the public perception of cats.
The movie charts from the late 1800s to the 1930s, following his life as well as the love he shared with Emily Richardson (played by Claire).
Along with the two protagonists, Olivia Colman, Toby Jones and Andrea Risenborough also star.
In an interview with Digital Spy, Benedict opened his mind to working with cats on the film.
He said: “You can fall in love with them and treat them like a little baby, which is what we do.
