William of Taurushis new movie Nightmare Alley Released in theaters last December by Searchlight Pictures, the film grossed just $ 10 million at the global box office at a time when audiences did not really show up for movies unless it was an “event” movie based on large properties. Alas, Del Toro just does not tend to fall like that.
If you missed it in the movies, you will be glad to hear it Nightmare Alley returns home very, very soon, first makes his way HBO Max and Hulu at February 1, 2022.
Meagan wrote in her review for BD, “Nightmare Alley offers psychological emotions in a deeply haunted and intricately woven ruminant in the dark bottom of society, in the pursuit of success and condemnation that may lurk in the end. Megan goes on to write, “It’s not the director’s strongest effort, but it’s still a rising spectacle that enchants.”

The film is an adaptation of the novel by William Lindsay Gresham.
Published in 1946, the novel made its first feature film just a year later starring Tyrone Power and Joan Blondell, and this new view was written by del Toro and Kim Morgan.
