With Aamir Khan Laal Singh Chadha and Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandan underperforming at the box office, all eyes in the film trade are now on the Vijay Deverakonda – Ananya Panday starrer Liger which opens on August 25.

Producer Karan Johar is planning to give this action the biggest release possible. It’s a solo release that week and Karan Johar plans to make the most of it. The USP here is the stunts. Vijay Deverakonda’s action scenes are unlike anything the audience has seen. Since we haven’t seen any action hero do what he does ligers, Karan Johar plans to flood the theaters with the film.

In addition, there are feelings. Vijay’s scenes with his on-screen mother played by Ramya Krishna are the other USP. this is one Mom-Beta couple like never before.

Bihar exhibitor Suman Sinha says, “We have lost a lot Laal Singh Chadha and Raksha Bandan. Former superstars need to take a big break. The audience wants to see Kartik Aaryan and Vijay Deverakonda.”
