Adivi Sesh reveals that he turned down 8 Bollywood films after the release of Major
Interestingly, Adivi Sesh recently revealed this during his chat with Pinkvilla. While he explained that although he liked some projects “creatively”, due to prior commitments he had to turn them down. The portal quoted him as saying, “I said no to 8 Bollywood films as I already had commitments and they wanted to start work immediately.”
Elaborating further, he added, “Some of it I loved creatively, but I had commitments to the projects I had done before Major was released. I have my hands full and many of these movies, the next 4 are definitely releasing in Hindi as well. So I’m not exactly worried about not engaging with the wonderful audience that discovered me Gooadachari and Major in Hindi.”
For the unfamiliar, the Sashi Kiran Tikka-directed biopic action film was based on the shocking life of 26/11 hero Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan. Along with him, the film also featured Prakash Raj, Sobhita Dhulipala, Saiee Manjrekar, Revathi, Murali Sharma and Anish Kuruvilla. The Hindi version of the film recently premiered at the 53rd International Film Festival of India, held in Goa.
As his conversation with the entertainment portal progressed, he informed that he will take up writing Goodachari 2 script after his promotions HIT 2 Hindi Edition. He claimed, “I’ve cracked the story, but I haven’t started working on the script, so there’s still 6 months of writing.”
Talking about HIT 2the sequel to its 2020 release is set to hit the screens on December 2.
