The song ‘Naatu Naatu’ by Ram Charan and Jr NTR starrer RRR has created history by winning an Academy Award trophy at the 95th Academy Awards on March 12. However, long before the big night, Ram Charan and Jr NTR became global celebrities with RRRhis success. While the song was nominated for several prestigious awards, Ram was also shooting for his upcoming film, RC 15, with the actress Kiara Advanis. Talking about the same, Kiara recently spoke about Ram Charan’s attitude afterwards RRRof success and stated that he is “still humble” and that makes him “a star”. This is their second Telugu film together after that Vinaya Vidheya Rama.
It all happened during her recent chat with News 18. Commenting on reuniting with Ram for Shankar’s upcoming directorial, Advani claimed, “It’s always great to work with Ram. He is a very good actor and an excellent dancer. And this film will see both of us in a very different light.”
She further recalled, “I met him afterwards RRR. We shot together even after the release of the film. He’s still the same. He is so down to earth. He is a humble and wonderful person. That’s what makes him the star he is,” while adding that he would “love it” if Ram and his wife, Upsana Kamineni Konidela, could attend her wedding to actor Sidharth Malhotra on February 7 this year.
Talking about the project and working with Shankar, Kiara added, “It was my dream to be directed by Shankar sir. He is an incredible director. It creates magic on screen. The film has been in the works for some time. I resumed filming this month. We have a lot in store and I’m really excited to show it to the public.”
Produced jointly by Dil Raju and Shirish under the banner of Sri Venkateswara Creations, RC 15 it will be a pan-India release in three languages – Telugu, Tamil and Hindi. Apart from Ram Charan and Kiara Advani, it will also star SJ Suryah, Jayaram, Anjali and Srikanth.
