Guru Harianiwho has previously acted in TV shows such as Anupamaa, Yeh Hai Chahatein, Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai, Bepanah Pyaar among others are excited to star in the upcoming Bollywood film Jawan which features Shah Rrukh Khan, Nayanthara, Sanya Malhotra including.
Talking about his excitement, he added, “I am excited to be a part of a Bollywood film, which includes Shah Rukh Khan. I am playing a small role but I have important scenes with actress Sanya Malhotra. It was truly an amazing experience shooting with the team and working with the production house. I hope the audience enjoys watching me. As an actor I want to explore every medium and enjoy such great opportunities.”
The actor was previously seen in Bade Achhe Lagte Hain 2 and is mostly seen playing roles in TV shows. He feels that it is very difficult for actors to get prominent roles in a TV show.
He further added, “As an actor I want to get recognition and I want to entertain my audience. But getting a good break on the TV screen is very difficult. Here the casting and moderator give work to their friends and family. There is also there is a lot of politics going on which only we actors understand. Big names have already been given work by the channel and production. However, I am thankful to Ekta Kapoor’s team who have always been fair and done good work to me. I love acting for her performances. Currently, I am looking for a prominent role. It is my dream to play a man in uniform or something like Abhishek Bachchan depicted in the film, Guru.”
She revealed that she was a victim of the TV show. “It’s funny as a newcomer I was happy to do small roles or cameos in shows. But it was much later when I found myself typing. Earlier, I was called for selective characters, but now I’m selective with the characters I try out,” he said.
