Last week, Aamir Khan teased his fans for a “Καχανί(story) to be told. The actor increased the anticipation around the “Καχανίwith fans formulating various theories as to what the announcement might be. While fans assumed it could be a teaser for his upcoming film Laal Singh Chaddha, a motion poster, or some even assumed he could announce a new project. Well with Aamir Khan, no one knows! The actor is known to invent unique marketing techniques to promote his films. This time he managed to surprise everyone once again with his “Kahani”.

This morning, Aamir Khan unveiled “Καχανίon a radio channel. ‘Καχανί” is the title of the first song of the movie Laal Singh Chaddha. Sung by Mohan Kannan, the melodic piece has been set to music by Pritam and written by Amitabh Bhattacharya. What makes it unique is that this is the first time that Aamir released the song of his movie before the release of the trailer. The first song was also released more than three months before the film was scheduled to hit theaters on August 11th. On the radio show, while revealing the first song, Aamir also said that all the songs from the movie will be released only in audio format.


Laal Singh Chaddha is the official transfer of the Hollywood movie Forrest Gump starring Tom Hanks. The film also stars Kareena Kapoor Khan. Directed by Advait Chandan, the film will explore the history of India through the eyes of the protagonist.
