Vishal Veeru Devgan, professionally called Ajay Devgn, a well-known actor in Hindi cinema, has starred in more than 100 films and received various accolades, including four National Film Awards and four Filmfare Awards. In 2016, the Government of India honored him with the country’s fourth highest civilian award, the Padma Shri.

Maidan
The biographical sports drama entertainer Maidaan was supposed to hit the theaters on June 23, 2023, but that date has been pushed back and the new release date is now unknown. The film follows the life and journey of Syed Abdul Rahim, a famous football coach who changed the game in India from 1952 to 1962. Rahim became a legend in Indian sports history because of his tenacity, initiative and vision. It chronicles the struggles, sacrifices and triumphs of Rahim, those of the Indian football team as they work to overcome social barriers and make their mark on the world stage. Ajay Devgan essays the character of Syed Abdul Rahim alias Rahim Saab. AR Rahman composed the music for the film.

Latest developments confirm that Ajay Devgn will star in the remake of the 2023 Gujarati film Vash. The project is currently untitled and is slated to hit the theaters on March 8, 2024. Vikas Bahl is the director of the adaptation. R. Madhavan, Jyothika, Anngad Raaj and Janki Bodiwala feature in it along with Devgn. It will be a supernatural thriller.

Singham Again
The third installment in Rohit Shetty’s cop universe Singham is titled Singham Again. In December 2022, pre-production on the film began. Ajay Devgn will reprise his role as Bajirao Singham in this. The actor appeared in a cameo role in the films Simmba (2018) and Sooryavanshi (2021) in the other Rohit Shetty Cop Universe films. According to reports, Singham Returns will hit the theaters on Independence Day 2024. Kareena Kapoor, Ranveer Singh, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff, Jackie Shroff and Deepika Padukone star in it, apart from Ajay Devgn.
