On Sunday, Anushka was spotted at the Mumbai airport as she left for Cannes, where she will be honoring women in film alongside Oscar-winning actress Kate Winslet. For the trip, Anushka wore a white tee and paired it with black pants. He also wore dark sunglasses and a matching hat as he walked through the airport gate. The actress also gave a thumbs up as she entered the gate. Her team was with her. Reacting to a video of Anushka shared on Instagram by a paparazzi, fans said they can’t wait for the actor to walk the Cannes red carpet. One person wrote, “Can’t wait to see her look!!” One fan wrote: “So cute.” Another said, “What will she wear to Cannes?”



French Ambassador to India Emmanuel Lenain had announced Anoushka’s presence at Cannes earlier this month. The ambassador posted a picture from their meeting and revealed that the actor will be attending Cannes Film Festival 2023. Emmanuel Lenin tweeted a picture and wrote, “A pleasant meeting with Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma! I wish Virat and wished Team India all the best for the upcoming tournaments and discussed Anushka’s trip to the Cannes Film Festival.”

Anushka also happens to be the brand ambassador of cosmetics giant L’Oreal and will likely represent the brand at the film festival. Last year, she shot for the brand’s ads in Paris and shared snaps from her time there on social media.

The desi representation at the film festival was strong this year. Indian attendees so far have included Cannes veteran Aishwarya Rai, who has made back-to-back appearances at the film festival, as well as celebrities such as Sara Ali Khan and Mrunal Thakur, who made their Cannes debuts this year. . Manushi Chhillar, Esha Gupta, Urvashi Rautela, Anurag Kashyap and Guneet Monga are some of the other Indian celebrities to grace the Cannes Film Festival 2023 red carpet.
