BATGIRL Star Leslie Grace Shares New Behind-The-Scenes Footage From The Shelved

Leslie Grace has taken to social media to share some new behind-the-scenes footage from the now-cancelled Bat girl film.

The video lasts just over 20 seconds, but gives us a brief glimpse of Grace as Barbara Gordon trades blows with an enemy (presumably Brendan Fraser’s Firefly). The rest of the material consists mainly of the actress training for her role and footage from the make-up chair.

The decision of Warner Bros. Discovery dropping the HBO Max movie when it was already so deep in post-production came as a huge surprise to everyone and is still being talked about weeks after the news broke. The studio received quite a bit of backlash for the move, but chances are David Zaslav will give in to fan demand and leave Bat girl they are very thin.

So these kinds of videos from Grace and the rest of the cast might be our only chance to get a glimpse of something from the movie.

It’s a shame Grace doesn’t get a chance to fit in with Gotham but Caped Crusader again, although a recent report indicated that Warner Bros. Pictures Group, Michael De Luca and Pam Abdy, had contacted her On high level stars and are “entertaining the possibility of her continuing to play Batgirl in a future DC film.”
