Ben Affleck has gushed about the “joy” he had working alongside his wife, actress and singer Jennifer Lopez.
Affleck and Matt Damon’s newly formed film production company, Artists Equity, is currently in the process of adapting the inspirational story of former Arizona State wrestler Anthony Robles into a film.
Teasing their upcoming title, UnstoppableAffleck and Damon told CBS Sunday morningTracy Smith: “We’re just starting to work with Amazon again.”
Smith coyly asked, “Who stars in this movie?”
“I know where you’re going with this. But I’ll tell you who the star is,” Affleck replied. “We always hire the best players. And in this case, I can say that every person that has been selected so far I think is the much absolute better selection.”
“Are you dancing around the fact that Jennifer Lopez is in this movie too?” suggested Smith.

Finally giving in, Affleck said, “Yes, I think Jennifer Lopez can do this movie. I can’t make it seem like he’s doing it for me, but he really is.
Affleck and Lopez tied the knot in July 2022, decades after calling off their first engagement in 2004.
“What fun, what a joy to do something with her, to see her be great, to go to work with your wife, to go to work with your best friend. Because eventually, like, your work becomes the lion’s share of what defines your life, in terms of the time you spend,” he said.
“And if you don’t like who you’re working with and if you have difficulty or problems at work, I think that’s one of the things that can really cause people depression and anxiety and pain. And vice versa, [if] you love people at work, you probably have a pretty good life, you know?’
Unstoppable It stars Jharrel Jerome as Robles, who was born with one leg and won a National Championship for his alma mater in 2011.
The biopic will follow the company’s first film Air, about the legendary partnership between Nike and former NBA pro Michael Jordan.
Premiere in cinemas on April 5, Air directed by Affleck, who also stars in it alongside Damon and Viola Davis.
