Speaking on Twitter, Bon Iver wrote: “This film is truly incredible and important. brings us levity and reality through humor and art. I was incredibly moved to be a part of it and work with our talented friend @nicholasbritell. ”

Do not look upThe full cast of the cast also includes Meryl Streep, Jonah Hill, Timothée Chalamet and Cate Blanchett.

In a four-star review of the film, NME wrote: “But Do not look up loses some momentum towards the end of its 145-minute run, still managing to do so both as a noisy comedy and as a bleak warning story. “By the end, McKay has certainly conveyed his message that the Earth is ours for salvation.”

The film is set to hit Netflix on Christmas Eve (December 24). An official trailer arrived last month.

Bon Iver, meanwhile, recently announced a series of shows in the US for the first half of 2022.

The tour will see the band visit Texas, New York, Louisiana, Maine, Pennsylvania and a number of other US states between March and June. The dates in the US will precede Bon Iver’s re-scheduled tour of the UK and Europe in October and November.

They released their latest studio album, “i, i”, in 2019. NME gave the album five stars, writing: “Bon Iver combined this fourth album in an incredibly clever way.”
