The publicity surrounding it Brahmastra it doesn’t go away even after two months of its theoretical release. Since the film finally debuted on OTT in November, more people have watched it. It is interesting to note that before its digital release, in a conversation with Bollywood Hungama Ayan Mukerji had revealed that he had made some changes of Brahmastra OTT version. While speculations surrounding the casting of the second part continue, it is confirmed that Deepika Padukone will play a central character.
Brahmastra OTT release confirms Deepika Padukone as Ranbir Kapoor’s mother Amrita
For the uninitiated, a section of viewers claimed to have spotted Deepika Padukone in the OTT version of Brahmastra. In one of the scenes in Brahmastra released on Disney+ Hotstar, Deepika was seen mothering baby Shiva and putting him back in his crib.
Expressing their excitement, a bunch of fans took to their social media handle and shared the clip featuring DP. One fan wrote, “Today, I watched Brahmastra for second time. I hadn’t noticed Deepika Padukone before. But this time, it was so obvious that he is there in the movie! It should be there in the second part too!’ Another Twitter user added, “Deepika padukone in and as amritha in brahmastra eagerly waiting for dev part 2.”

Brahmastra Part 1: Shiva, focuses on the life of Shiva, a young boy with the ability to control fire. Shiva, known as ‘Agni Astra’, has visions of future threats to the world. He embarks on a mission to protect the universe, uncover his hidden abilities, and discover his role in averting the crisis to fulfill his role.
Along with Ranbir Kapoor, the film also stars Alia Bhatt, Amitabh Bachchan, Nagarjun and Mouni Roy in pivotal roles. The film, which released on September 9 in theaters, started streaming on Disney+ Hotstar from November 4 onwards.
