Chandan Roy Sanyal’s career has not taken off since he made his debut Rang de Basadi (2006) starring Aamir Khan. But OTT platforms changed the game for him. Web series like Ashram, and an anthology film such as e.g. Ray, and the recent release directly on OTT Sanak gave has a chance to shine.

The ecstatic actor says, “I will say that OTT has given me more opportunities to prove myself in movies. I was not fully explored. What OTT did for me and gave me right now… I do not have time to take on more work. “There are too many coming my way.”

However, the 41-year-old admits that he is extremely aware of not overexposing himself on the internet.

“I want to keep myself fresh. My guru taught me to keep it that way. This is the first time this happens to me. I do not want to get tired of working hard. “I want to squeeze it well, araam to you,” says Sanyal.

The actor had the opportunity to show his talent as a negative character towards Vidyut Jammwal Relatives, for which he received rave reviews.

In a philosophical note, Sanyal says that “he felt finished before, but he feels nourished now.”

He goes on to explain, “I just survived with a few things on my plate, in terms of characters and roles. Now I have Italian, Indian for breakfast. Before it was only a few square meals a day. I could not survive this for long. “My meals were very small, now I do not feel that way.”
