Chris Jericho is attempting a new film project where he will play a father, rancher and rock star. The character name is loud and feels very Jericho-esque.
Jericho will star in the film Country Heart in the role of Bones Jamieson.
I can’t lie. The name Bones Jamieson piques my interest. It’s not Snake Plissken, but it’s a pretty cool nickname.
His plot Country Hearts is described as, “The daughters of country music and rock & roll royalty at a crossroads, torn between following their dreams of performing or helping their father run his burgeoning horse breeding business. Between old flames, new love, best friends and family – everyone will need each other’s strength to face the next steps.”
Jericho gave a statement to Variety“After playing evil priests, insane asylum security chiefs, snarky social media whistleblowers and cult leaders, I jumped at the chance to play a good guy for once. Country Hearts! I was able to adapt my acting and the range of my characters in these films and it was great to play Bones Jamieson… father, rancher and rock star… which basically mirrors me in real life!”
Country Hearts also stars Lanie McAuley, Katerina Maria, Brendan Morgan, Jeff Irving, Craig Strickland, David Pinard, Michelle Nolden, Genevieve Fisher, Roy Lewis, Lara Amersey, Greg Ellwand, Bebsabe Duque, Celine Bauwmans and Neil Whitely. I don’t recognize any of these actors, but I’m sure they’ll all demand to join the Jericho Appreciation Society when they spend time with Le Champion.
The film is in pre-production to air on UPtv in the fall. Follow Country Hearts Christmas has already received the green light. Here’s hoping Daddy Magic’s nipples get a cameo next.
