Veteran Bollywood actor Dharmendra, who is currently in the US for medical treatment, took to his social media account on Saturday to check on his son Sunny Deolhis last film Gadar 2. The film was released in theaters on August 11, 2023 and received positive reviews from critics and audiences. Taking to Twitter (now X), Dharmendra shared a picture of himself along with a heartfelt note praising Sunny for his success and expressing his gratitude for being a doting father.

Dharmendra praises Sunny Deol’s Gadar 2 success
On his social media account, Dharmendra posted a picture of himself, where he was seen dressed in a red and black checkered shirt. The actor also wore a hat and smiled for the camera. Overwhelmed by Sunny Deol’s success, Dharmendra wrote, “Dosto, qismat wala hota hai Baap woh…jis ka beta kabhi jab Baap ban kar bacchon sa laad ladata hai (Friends, only a very lucky father can see his son , when he becomes a father he playfully fights with his children).
The actor added, “Sunny brought me to the US to enjoy the success of Gadar 2 ……Dosto, thank you all for your wishes to make Gadar 2 a blockbuster.” Check out his post here:
Gadar 2 box office success
Starring Sunny Deol as his beloved character Tara Singh, Gadar 2 created a storm at the box office. The film created several new box office records and became the fastest Hindi film to cross Rs 500 crore at the Indian box office. The film is currently the second highest grossing Hindi film of all time and is just inches away from the top spot, which was taken by Shah Rukh Khan Pathan. Worldwide, Gadar 2 it has grossed over 600 crore and has been declared a blockbuster of all time.

After a blockbuster in the theaters, the makers have locked down Gadar 2’s OTT release date. The film will make its digital premiere next month on October 6, 2023 on Zee5.
