In response to Shankar’s tweet, Venkat Prabhu, Silambarasan and SJ Suryah thanked him for his appreciation. Interestingly, SJ Suryah played a key role in Shankar’s directorial “Nanban”, while Silambarasan was the first choice for one of the characters as a friend of Vijay in the film.

“Maanaadu” continues to skyrocket in its second week, and the film produced by Suresh Kamatchi reportedly grossed more than 50 crore at the global box office.
