The crazy combination of Ram and director Puri Jagannadh is back. The duo are reuniting for the sequel to their cult blockbuster iSmart Shankar titled Dual iSmart. It will be twice the mass and twice the fun, this time. Puri Jagannadh and Charmme Kaur will jointly produce the film under Puri Connects. Vishu Reddy is the CEO.
Double iSmart held its grand opening ceremony today with the presence of the core team and some special guests. While Charmme played the applause, Puri Jagannadh himself directed the first shot on hero Ram Pothineni. “iSmart Shankar alias Double iSmart,” Ram said of the muhurtam shot in style. The regular shooting of Double iSmart will start on the 12th of this month.
It is a very special film for Ram as well as Puri Jagannadh. The film turned out to be the biggest blockbuster for both the hero and the director. So the excitement and expectations around this project will be huge.
Puri Jagannadh has written a story that will have a much larger scope and will be made on a high budget on a grand scale with top technical standards. Puri will show Ram in a more massive character than iSmart Shankar.
Dual iSmart will be released in Pan India. It will release in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam and Hindi languages for Maha Shivaratri on March 8, 2024.
