Dunki Box Office Collection Day 7: The box office performance of Shah Rukh Khan's latest film “Dunki” in its first seven days shows a fluctuating trend in its net collection across India. The film started with a strong opening on the first Thursday, collections ₹29.2 crore. However, it was the weakest among Khan's three releases this year, the other two being Pathaan and Jawan.
The next day, the Rajkumar Hirani directorial saw a significant drop of 31.10%, netting ₹20.12 crores. Positive word-of-mouth brought better fortunes over the weekend, up 27.29% on Saturday. ₹25.61 crore. The numbers were even stronger on Sunday. It gained 19.88%, accumulating ₹30.7 million. This trend reversed on Monday, with collections falling by 20.78%. ₹24.32 million
The most dramatic drop came on Tuesday, where the film's net collection plummeted by 52.47%, earning only ₹11.56 crore. The next day, Wednesday, he was admitted ₹10.54 crore, on a rough basis, indicating a slight decline of 8.82% from the previous day.
In a week, despite stiff competition from Prabhas' action film Salaar, Dunki made the cut ₹152.05 crore in a week. The Bollywood film was reportedly shot with ₹120 crores.
After six days, Dunki was raked in ₹283.13 crore in worldwide Box Office gross, Red Chillies Entertainment posted earlier on X (formerly Twitter).
The film, which also stars Taapsee Pannu, Vicky Kaushal, Vikram Kochhar, Arun Grover and Boman Irani in pivotal roles, has maintained strong numbers at its overseas collection. He managed to cross it ₹100-crore mark in overseas earnings in five days.
Dunki in the top-grossers' club
As expected, Dunki managed to come close ₹300 crore after 6 days. The film has already entered Bollywood's top club in 2023. It has surpassed OMG 2 ( ₹221.75 crore) and Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar ( ₹223 crore) to become the 8th highest grossing film of the year.
As of now, SRK's film is all set to surpass the Kerala story ( ₹302 crore) after the seventh day and claim the 7th position. Numbers abroad come in the evening.
