Rajkumar Hirani directorial Dunki hit the screens last week and has been doing strong business since then. Starring Shah Rukh Khan, the critically acclaimed film managed to live up to expectations. After opening well, Dunki's business has now managed to cross Rs. 100 cr brand.
Coming in at the coveted Rs. 100 cr club in just four days, Dunki which has raised Rs. 101.50 cr emerged as Rajkumar Hirani's fourth release to achieve this feat. Thanks to this, Hirani now shares the second spot with Kabir Khan and Sanjay Leela Bhansali in the list of directors with the highest Rs. 100 CR receipts. Although topping the list is Rohit Shetty with 9 releases that have crossed Rs. With 100 crores, Hirani stands higher than other directors like Ali Abbas Zafar, SS Rajamouli and Farhad Samji who have 3 releases each.
Currently, Dunki continues to see its business grow, in fact, trade forecasts state that with the festive season of Christmas and New Year, the film's business is sure to see tremendous growth. In fact, optimistic forecasts state that Dunki's business will not only cross Rs. 150 cr but also the Rs. 200 Cr mark by the end of first week.
