The sequel to the 2005 film Bunty Aur Babli released in theaters over the weekend. While the first film starred Abhishek Bachchan and Rani Mukerji as crooks, in the sequel Saif Ali Khan took the cast alongside Rani Mukerji. The film also stars Siddhant Chaturvedi and Sharvari as the young Bunty and Babli.
Abhishek Bachchan who is currently looking forward to the release of his film Bob Bisvas, in an exclusive conversation with Bollywood Hungama talked about the comparison being made between Bunty Aur Babli and its continuation. “I think it’s very natural for comparisons. I think we as humans like to do that. I do not think it would be right to say anything at this time. I have not seen the new movie. I have not seen the whole thing Bob Bisvas either. It would not be right to say anything, but unfortunately, this is just human nature, we like to compare. “Everyone brings their own interpretation, their own ability and that is okay,” he said.
“I also like to believe that on a certain level, in addition to this human nature, we in the media fraternity also like to mix these things up as well as make interesting copies. But, I think everyone’s intentions are good and noble, and if so, I wish good luck to everyone. I wish everyone all the best. Bunty Aur Babli It is made by my very good friends. It is a very important film in my filmography and I wish them all the best. “I look forward to seeing the film and applauding them all.”
The next Abhishek Bachchan Bob Bisvas will be released at ZEE5 on December 3rd.
