Ayushmann Khurrana once again notes the right note with his recently released film Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. The award-winning national actor who is known for his experimental film choices and the selection of films that violate social norms is appreciated for his performance in Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui. In the film, he plays a Punjabi alpha male who is a weightlifting champion. His character falls in love with a woman who later discovers that she is a trans woman. The film is highly regarded for its discreet view of the trans community. Actor Hrithik Roshan also showed love for the film and praised Ayushmann for his performance.

During a recent interview with Bollywood Hungama, when Ayushmann was asked if he was complimented by Hrithik Roshan and appreciated by so many other artists, he said, “It’s surreal. I think it was just a step-by-step journey, which I really enjoyed, and I got scripts, which were great and were supported by great filmmakers and screenwriters. But it was quite a journey and the journey still continues. You learn every day and with every movie, and it was a big confirmation when Hrithik Roshan tweeted “.

“He called me (Hrithik). We talked for half an hour. And he says, “I’m inspired and you have done such a great job, how you speak with your eyes” and I had nothing to say because he is Hrithik Roshan. I have seen him since my school years and you know Kaho Na Pyaar Hai running home and suddenly, he calls you. I was also a presenter at a dance show where he was a judge in 2011.
