Over the years, music composers Salim-Sulaiman have managed to become one of the most respected names in Hindi film music. From Chuck De! India, Fashion to Rab Ne Bana Di Jodi, Band Baaja Baaraat And many more, Merchant brothers have come a long way creating blockbuster music albums for many Bollywood movies. for decades.
In an exclusive music hall interview with Bollywood Hungama, while sharing the interesting behind-the-scenes stories of how they created their chart-topping masterpieces, Salim and Sulaiman talk about their two albums that did well, but the film didn’t. Talking about their albums for the movie Qurban, Salim stated, “This is an amazing album. I think it’s one of our best albums.”
Suleiman then added, “It’s a surprise that the movie didn’t do so well, unfortunately, but it’s one of those movies where the movie doesn’t do well, but their songs become evergreen. I think there are only two such films that we have done, that I can remember, whose songs became hits. Kaal.” Agreeing with him, Salim added, “Yes, it is true. Songs from Kaal He did very well.”
