First look at Disney’s Christmas movie starring LudacrisDisney+

Disney+ has unveiled the first look at its new Christmas movie, Dashing Through the Snow, starring Ludacris.

The film sees the rapper star as Eddie, a “kind-hearted man who has turned his back on Christmas due to a traumatic childhood experience,” according to the logline. At the request of his estranged wife Alison, Eddie takes his 9-year-old daughter Charlotte to work with him on Christmas Eve, where they meet a mysterious man in a red suit named Nick.

“Eddie, who is a social worker, believes the man is delusional and needs professional help, but when he incurs the wrath of a local politician, he and his daughter embark on a magical adventure that may restore his faith in Christmas.”

In addition to Ludacris, the cast for the holiday film includes Teyonah Parris, Madison Skye Validum, Lil Rel Howery and Oscar Nuñez. Tim Story directed the play and Scott Rosenberg wrote the screenplay.

Ludacris recently reprized his role as Tej Parker in Fast X and could be joined by a British comedy star like Daisy May Cooper recently revealed she was offered a part in his latest installment the action franchise.

“I try to take whatever is offered to me, [but] offers are drying up very quickly,” he said. “I was offered a security guard in one of the Fast and Furious movies and I couldn’t help but do it. [was] literally two lines’.

With the series coming to an end soon, Director Louis Leterrier clarified the recent comments by the protagonist Vin Diesel, after the actor hinted that the proposed The two-part finale could turn into a trilogy.

“The one thing about Vin is, when he’s in a press line, he’ll say anything to get out of that press line,” Leterrier said. “And I’m kind of like him and I’m like, ‘Yeah, sure, we’re going to the moon next. Goodbye.” And then you never forget!”

Running in the snow will air on Disney+ starting November 17.
