First trailer for Sabrina star Kiernan Shipka’s new horror film

The first trailer for Sabrina star of Kiernan Shipka’s new horror film Absolutely killer, and if you love a bit of 80s nostalgia, this one is definitely for you.

Shot on Halloween night, Absolutely killer he sees Shipka as Jamie, a teenager who just wants to have fun with her friends but has to deal with her overprotective mother (played by Modern family star Julie Bowen).

But Jamie’s mom has a good reason to be overprotective: 35 years ago, her friends were murdered by a man known as the Sweet Sixteen Killer.

When Jamie herself comes face to face with the masked killer, she is transported back in time to 1987, where she must try to stop the killer before he goes on a rampage.

While the trailer mentions Back to the Future, Absolutely killer gives Time machine with hydromassage crossed with Carnival vibes, creating a very entertaining modern slasher film.

Absolutely killer is set to be released by Prime Video on October 6.

Absolutely killer Also starring Olivia Holt as the teenage version of Jamie’s mother Pam, with Jonathan Potts, Charlie Gillespie, Lochlyn Munro and Ant man actor Randall Park in supporting roles.

Meanwhile, Bowen opened up earlier this year about the downside of going public with Nolan Gould, who played her son Luke in Modern family.

“I live very close to Nolan and I see him a lot,” Bowen said, explaining that it often leads to dating rumors.
