Former EastEnders Star Maisie Smith has given fans a first look at her upcoming film Bermondsey Tales: Fall Of The Roman Empire.
In April, it was confirmed that the actress would play one of the lead roles in the gangster film alongside Alan Ford and Adam Deacon. The film tells the story of a South London crime family that begins to fight among themselves after the death of the ringleader, contrasting the family’s situation with that of the Roman Empire.
Filming on the film has already wrapped, with Maisie sharing some behind-the-scenes images from the shoot.
“Feels so good to be back doing what I love most,” she wrote in a post Instagram account.

“Some of the filming of ‘Bermondsey Tales: Fall of the Roman Empire’ with this amazing bunch,” he added.
The actress’ post included an image of her script, as well as several photos from the set and her co-stars, including former Hollyoaks actor Charlie Clapham.
“Well done @maisiesmithofficial it was a pleasure dancing with you!” comment below the post.

Maisie’s boyfriend, The Wanted singer Max Georgehe also congratulated the actress on her work, commenting: “So proud of you my love xx.”
The actress had stated this in the past she and Max had moved in togetherafter confirming their relationship last September.
“Me and Max are basically the same person,” she said OKAY! Magazine when asked about what life is like together.
“We’ll both see some tissue on the floor, I won’t pick it up, he won’t pick it up, and finally a week has gone by and neither of us have picked it up. We’ve been laughing all this time.”
