MUMBAI: Bollywood actress Geeta Basra, who was last seen in 2016’s ‘Lock’, has recently signed a film to be produced by her Shershaah producer Shabbir Boxwala. Geeta will reportedly play the female lead opposite Parambrata Chatterjee (of ‘Kahaani’ fame) in a film called ‘Notary’, which will be directed by Pavan Wadeyar. The film is a satire. The film will be shot in a single schedule of 45 days in Bhopal. Filming begins on October 5.

Confirming the same, Geeta was quoted as saying, “I am in a very happy place. Shabbir called and offered me a role that I really liked. I am happy to be back with a role that gives me a range of emotions.”
“Well, it has a certain chart. I play a college girl who becomes a wife. It’s a very demanding role. I couldn’t ask for more,” he added.

“My mom and Jovan will be with me in Bhopal while my husband (Harbhajan Singh) will look after Hinaya in Mumbai. Hinaya and Bhajji (as he is fondly called) can always fly to Bhopal for a few days to be with us.”
Meanwhile, Shabbir Boxwala said, “This is true. The complete cast and crew will be announced soon.”
