Hina Khan drops teaser of her new film ‘Country of Blind’ on her birthday – WATCH | Hindi Movie News

Hina Khan she has indeed come a long way and made her way from television to cinema. Despite making a huge mark on the audience as Akshara in ‘Yeh Rishta Kya Kehlata Hai’, she has made people see her beyond that now. On her birthday on October 2, Hina released the teaser of her upcoming film “Country of the Blindwhich is set to get an exclusive US international release on October 6th.
The film is based on the short story by HG Wells and is a satire that showcases a unique community that thrives in isolation from the outside world. A disease has struck the community which has resulted in the next generation being born blind.
Hina shared the teaser and wrote, “Here’s a treat for my fans, on the occasion of my birthday, I’m very proud to announce the release of COUNTRY OF BLIND in the US on October 6, 2023. I’m going to share the list of theaters where you can watch the movie. For now, a little taste of our world in the Country of the Blind, where love blooms beyond sight. #CountryOfBlind”

Her fans couldn’t stop appreciating her in this teaser and showered the actress with lots of love while wishing her a happy birthday. Talking further about it, Hina says, “After the poster release at Cannes, the US release is huge! I am very excited and can’t wait to see the reaction of our audience. The film is a beautiful cinematic experience and definitely one to touch hearts. Rahat really made sure we lived these characters on and off set which was amazing!”
The film was shot in Kashmir, which is Hina’s native land and that was the icing on the cake for her. ‘Country Of Blind’ also stars Inaamulhaq, Pradhuman Singh Mall, Anushka SenNamita Lal, Mir Sarwar, Jitendra Rai, Ahmer Haider and Hussain Khan. Directed by Rahat Shah Kazmi. The film will soon be released worldwide.
