Kishore, who played the role of forest officer Muralidhar in Rishab Shetty’s blockbuster Kantaragrabbed a spot on the trending list, thanks to his recent announcement about the 2022 Kannada film KGF: Chapter 2. Talking about KGF 2, which was a box office hit, Kishore said India Today: “I don’t know if it’s right or wrong, but I haven’t watched it KGF 2. Not my type of cinema. It’s a personal choice.” The actor added: “I’d rather see a small film that’s not a hit but deals with something serious than something that’s mindless.”

KGF 2 was the second installment of the 2018 Kannada film KGF. Directed by Prashanth Neel and produced by Vijay Kiragandur, it featured superstar Yash in the lead role alongside Bollywood actors Sanjay Dutt and Raveena Tandon. The film was released in theaters last year.

Kantara, directed by Rishab Shetty, also features him in the lead role. The film also stars Achyuth Kumar, Manasi Sudhir and Sapthami Gowda in pivotal roles. The film received immense praise from film critics and audiences. The film also found fans in Rajinikanth, Dhanush, Prabhas, Hrithik Roshan. Other stars also shared posts appreciating the film.

Kantara opened to rave reviews and was equally capable of wowing audiences. The film was originally released in Kannada. After the success of the film, the makers decided to release the dubbed version in other languages ​​including Hindi and Malayalam. The movie is now streaming on OTT platforms.
