You’d think James Gunn would be doing everything in his power besides producing a Man of Steel movie right now to appease the raging DC fanbase. But if anything, the director is doubling down on all of his creative decisions, no matter how controversial and fueling the debates that the past two weeks have proven to be. One of them features the cast of MCU regulars in the upcoming DC Cinematic Universe, including Chris Pratt. Gunn seems to think this is a reasonable issue, and explained the same in a tweet recently.

“We have hundreds of roles to play. As I’ve always done, some will be brand new faces, some will be actors I’ve worked with before, and some will be actors you know I’ve never worked with. What matters most is that the actor fits the role and is easy to work with,” Gunn wrote. Totally logical train of thought, wouldn’t you say?
