Kangana Ranaut has a message for her ‘Bollywood friends’. Recently, the actress took to her Instagram stories and shared a meme that read, “Whoever I hurt this year, you deserve it.” However, Kangana added her own twist and caption saying, “Now that the year is ending I want to confess something similar to mine Bollywood the friends.”
Interestingly, this comes a day after Kangana graced Ekta Kapoor’s Diwali bash which was also attended by Karan Johar. The two have always been at odds. Last month, Kangana took a dig at KJo when he questioned the box office collection of his Brahmastra production and even expressed her desire to interview Karan for the same. He also claimed that the makers of Brahmastra are not declaring net box office receipts but only gross profits.
“I want to interview Karan Johar and understand why he declares Brahmastra gross collection and not net collection? What is despair? Also after they made ₹60 cr (this is the net collection they have declared, I don’t believe in this number but net amount India it is 60cr for two days according to them). Even if we believe them, how come the ₹650 film has already become a hit,” he had written.
Kangana also called Karan a “cinema mafia” and asked him to explain the maths behind Brahmastra’s box office numbers. “Karan Johar Ji please enlighten us, because I am afraid there are different laws of nature for film mafia and different for mere mortals like us. Hence different maths for the privileged people like you and different maths for the underprivileged like us… please enlighten us on this,” he added.
