Lindsay Lohan didn't appreciate a line in the news Bad Girls film that appears to refer to a vulgar comment about the actress that made headlines nearly two decades ago.
A scene in the Paramount film, which topped the domestic box office over the weekend, features Megan Thee Stallion portraying herself as offering support to Cady Heron (Angourie Rice) by saying, “Y2K fire crotch is back.” In 2006, a TMZ video made headlines for oil heir Brandon Davis' offensive comments about Lohan, which included referring to the actress as a “crotch of fire.”
“Lindsay was very hurt and disappointed by the mention in the film,” Lohan's publicist Leslie Sloan said in a statement shared with People and other media.
After starting the role of Cady in Mark Waters' Paramount film Bad Girls which hit theaters in 2004, Lohan — spoiler alert — makes a cameo in the new film based on the Broadway musical of the same name. Samantha Jayne and Arturo Perez Jr. they directed the new Bad Girls From a screenplay by Tina Fey, who also wrote the 2004 film.
