Pradeep Ranganathan’s latest offering ‘Love Today’ is based on amazing word of mouth. The movie got excellent occupancy on the first day and now due to the glowing word of mouth, it is doing amazing job in pre sales.
On online ticket booking site Bookmyshow, most of Love Today’s shows are either sold out or filling up fast and this is true till Sunday. The movie has a rating of 9.8/10 with 6.4k reviews.

Box Office Collection Day 2
It opened with 2.45 crore nett at the box office. Pradeep’s film is receiving rave reviews for its screenplay, comedy and emotional parts, Yuvan Shankar’s music and the lead actor’s performance.
As per trade estimates, it showed a jump of over 116% on Sat to take the total domestic collections to 7.5 Cr+ which is a very good number for a low budget film.
Now, going by the trends, we are sure to see a rise in collections at Sun as well. It is sure to cross the 10 crore nett mark on Sunday.
‘Love Today’ is a 3 year dream
Pradeep who wore many hats in the film wrote an emotional post about making the film which he said was a 3 year dream. Hours before the film hit the screens, he tweeted: “Love Today is a three year dream. I chose to make a second First Film.”
He further spoke about the feelings attached to the film and also thanked producer AGS Kalpathi S Aghoram for believing in him. Check out his tweet below:

Yuvan Shankar Raja has given music that wins many accolades from the audience. The duration of the movie is 2 hours 34 minutes or 154 minutes, it is certified UA by the censor board.
