After a gap of almost a year and a half, Mahesh Babu returns to the big screen with Guntur Kaaram. The film helmed by Trivikram Srinivas brings back the Prince of Tollywood in his massive avatar. The teasers and trailer have already left the fans extremely excited to watch this masaledaar movie on screen. And the wait is not long as Guntur Kaaram releases on January 12. It is set to hit the theaters on the auspicious festival of Sankranti. With only 4 days left for its release, ticket pre-bookings have opened. Guntur Kaaram Ticket Exhibition
As reported by Koimoi.com, Mahesh Babu's Guntur Kaaram has already made Rs 66 lakhs in advance ticket sales. That number is as of 11 a.m., meaning it would have increased as we write this story. The report said that the advance booking has started at a select location and Bangalore has shown a lot of interest. Out of 107 shows of Guntur Kaaram, 18 are running almost full. According to reports, only tickets for the Telugu version of the film are open for pre-booking. Given the craze for South Indian films, one can expect Guntur Kaaram to make a fantastic opening at the box office.
Furthermore, according to reports, Guntur Kaaram has been given a U/A certificate by the Censor Board. The running time of Mahesh Babu's movie two hours and thirty nine minutes.

Five films clash at the box office in Sanskranti
Guntur Kaaram is set to clash with four other films. The film clashes with Teja Sajja's HanuMan. It is one of the most awaited movies and there is huge craze for the same. HanuMan will also release on January 12 and fans are eagerly waiting for it. Venkatesh Daggubati Saindhav is releasing a day after Guntur Kaaram. Ravi Tejja's film Eagle also releases on January 13. After that, Nagarjuna's film Naa Saami Ranga is all set to release on January 14. Therefore, there will be massive competition for screens.
