Speaking to the Hindustan Times earlier this month, Nawazuddin shared his views on content on OTT platforms and the competition between digital producers and big screen cinemas: “It has been very popular on OTT for a few years now. In 2019, the Sacred Games series starring Nawazuddin was nominated for Best Drama Series at the International Emmy. The award was won by another police show, McMafia, in which Nawazuddin also starred in a short role.
