In an interview with India Today, Nikhil Siddhartha confirmed this Karthikeia 3 saying, “Yes, with everyone’s blessings, we are planning to make Karthikeya 3. Also, this time is more exciting because we are planning to make the film in 3D.” The news surely comes as a treat to fans who are wondering what Karthikeya has in store in the third instalment. Audiences, who have watched the sequel, will know that the climax of the film features Nikhil holding a key which further speculated about another film in the works. But it looks like with the 3D announcement, fans will get to enjoy the third movie.
For the uninitiated, the Karthikeia The film franchise explores the journey of Nikhil’s character who tries to solve some interesting mysteries of the world. While the first film, released in 2014, revolves around a closed Karthikeya temple in the village of Subrahmanyapuram that catches the attention of a medical student named Karthik. After several incidents of snakebite around the place, he decides to investigate the mystery surrounding the temple. Seven years after its prequel, Karthikeya returns as a researcher who embarks on a mission to Dwaraka to find Lord Krishna’s lost bicycle. The type of subject has not yet been seen Karthikeia 3 will explore.
