Myers, a renowned filmmaker, member of the Sundance Fellow and member of the Comanche nation, is known for her attention and dedication to films around the Comanche and Blackfeet nations and her passion for honoring Indigenous heritage. As a result, the film includes a cast that consists almost entirely of Native and First Nation talent, including Amber Midthunder (“The Ice Road”, “Roswell, New Mexico”), a newcomer Dakota Beavers, Stormy Kip (“Sooyii”), Michelle Thrush (“The journey home”), Julian Black Antelope (“Race”).
