MUMBAI: South hottie Vijay Deverakonda made a big impact on the fans with Arjun Reddy’s film. So much so that he was also remade in Bollywood as Kabir Singh and the film did extremely well despite the violent content.
Post that Vijay became a household name even in Bollywood, so his debut here was imminent. Then Liger appeared. The film PAN India was his Bollywood debut, which was also dubbed into Malayalam, Tamil and Kannada.

Puri Jagannad’s directorial Liger however failed to work at the box office and received terrible reviews. It also created a big impact on starrer Vijay Deverakonda.
At an award function, speaking about Liger’s failure, Vijay said, “We all have good days, we all have not-so-good days, we all have golden days. But no matter how we feel, we have to get up. Maybe I didn’t want to be here, receiving this award. But I’m here and as I’m talking to you, I promise I’ll get the job done for you all and you’ll have fun. And it will be a big movie. Thanks.”

Liger also starred Ananya Panday and her pairing with Vijay was loved by fans. The film also featured Ramya Krishnan and Ronit Roy along with international boxing legend Mike Tyson.
Vijay will next be seen in the film South Kushi opposite Samantha Ruth Prabhu.
