A24 has shared a new poster for The Iron Claw movie, based on the life of Kevin Von Erich and the legendary Von Erich family.
With the film releasing at the end of the year, studio A24 is promoting the film more.
Ahead of the trailer’s release on Wednesday (October 11), a new poster has given us an official teaser from the film, featuring Von Erich hugging in the ring.
You can see the poster below.
The poster features Zac Efron, Jeremy Allen White, Harris Dickinson, Maura Tierney, Stanley Simons, Hold McCallany and Lily James as the film’s top stars.
Zac Efron will play Kevin Von Erich, as the protagonist of the film.
Jeremy Allen White, who will play Kerry Von Erich, previously noted that he gained 40 pounds of muscle before filming.
The release date of the film is scheduled for December 22. This may indicate that A24 believes it will be an awards contender, with the film falling in the early awards season, when studios tend to reject films they think will contend for major awards like the Oscars.
Several wrestling names will also be in the film, including AEW World Champion MJF, who will star as Lance Von Erich.
